Norse forests. Snowcapped peaks. Raw, wild nature. Kratos has a new home: British Columbia. The Amazon Prime Video series, based on the hugely popular PlayStation game, filmed scenes in Greenwood Park in North Vancouver — a location transformed into the Norse realm of Midgard. Ronald D. Moore, the showrunner behind Battlestar Galactica, is leading the project. The production remains active across the Lower Mainland through May 2026.

Production began in November 2024 and wrapped in March 2025 in London — only four days before the premiere. The supervising location manager was Steve Mortimore, a veteran of films from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy to Ridley Scott's Napoleon, and his brief was clear from the start: don't copy The Gentlemen. The result is a show built on a precise geographic logic. The Harrigans live in the countryside and do their dirty work in the most dangerous parts of London. The locations make that split visible.

When production moved to Milan in October 2025, filmmakers took full advantage of the city’s reputation as a global style capital. One of the most talked-about moments was filming at a Dolce & Gabbana runway show during Milan Fashion Week. In those scenes, Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly and Stanley Tucci’s Nigel Kipling sit front-row at the live fashion event, watching models strut down the catwalk—a scene that blends real fashion spectacle with the film’s fictional narrative.

4 Kids Walk into a Bank is a dark heist comedy starring Liam Neeson, being filmed around Limerick City. The production is transforming parts of the city to resemble 1990s America, which includes changes to storefronts, signage, and the addition of period vehicles.

In The Thursday Murder Club, the luxurious retirement community of Coopers Chase comes to life through the grandeur of Englefield House and its beautifully landscaped grounds in Berkshire. With its Elizabethan architecture and tranquil setting—complete with adjacent gardens, a church, and a purpose-built graveyard—the estate perfectly captures the bucolic charm of the novel.

For the fifth season of Emily in Paris, production has chosen Venice, Italy, as the glamorous new backdrop for Lily Collins’ character, Emily Cooper. While Paris remains the core setting of the series, the Venetian storyline introduces a fresh layer of romance, fashion, and enchanting Italian charm.

Since August 1, 2025, Glasgow has been at the center of Hollywood magic as filming began for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. For nearly a month, the city’s streets have doubled as New York City, with production transforming familiar landmarks into the backdrop of Peter Parker’s next adventure. What was originally planned to wrap on August 15 has now been extended through August 26, keeping the excitement alive for locals and fans a little longer.

Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci were spotted filming a 'Devil Wears Prada 2' Met Gala-style scene in New York City. The actress wore a red gown as she was filmed walking up and down the steps of the Museum of Natural History. Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt are also making their returns for the sequel, which hits theaters on May 1, 2026.
