I spent years trying to turn my pasion for filming locations into something real. Not every chapter was a triumph. But every chapter was necessary. The epiphany came in Paris. In a church from The Da Vinci Code, an enthusiastic couple spotted my hand-made walking route and asked where I'd got it. "I made it myself. It's not for sale." Standing there, I realised it should be. Walking routes through cities, from one legendary film location to the next. That was the idea. That became MovieWalks.

Years of experimentation. Apps, PDFs, websites — each hit a wall. Then in 2023, everything clicked. GPS-guided walks delivering images, context and sound on the exact spot where films were made.

MovieWalks launched on the App Store and Google Play in 2025. The product today is sharper and more immersive than anything I imagined on that London street all these years ago.

Films are a lens through which we understand other cultures, other lives, other worlds. MovieWalks connects the stories you love with the places that brought them to life. We turn cities into film sets and visitors into explorers.

The dream is bold. A globally recognised brand for premium film tourism, on every continent, in every city where great cinema was made. We're not there yet. But we know exactly where we're going.
