Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey — starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Tom Holland — was filmed across Morocco, Greece, Sicily, Iceland, Scotland and Western Sahara between February and August 2025. It premieres July 17. These are the places that became Homer's world.

Principal photography for Enola Holmes 3 began on April 10, 2025, with filming split between Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England and locations in Malta. Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola, with Henry Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as their mother Eudoria. The film premieres on Netflix on July 1, 2026.

Reese Witherspoon watched Netflix's Wednesday and thought: Elle Woods was once in high school, too. Who was she before Harvard? That question became Elle, a Prime Video prequel series premiering July 1, 2026, set in 1995 and filmed almost entirely in and around Vancouver, British Columbia. One exception  is a shopping scene filmed on Rodeo Drive.

Season 3 of House of the Dragon — premiered June 22 on HBO — was filmed across eight real locations in the United Kingdom, from a national nature reserve on Anglesey to a Victorian pier, a former slate quarry the size of a fortress, and a medieval castle.
