Season one of MobLand was the biggest series launch in Paramount+ history — 8.8 million viewers in its first week. It was filmed in six weeks, written partly during production, and wrapped four days before it premiered. Season two did things differently. And the locations have expanded — considerably.

It's July 2, 2026. Thursday afternoon. In Riverside Park — the long, narrow strip of green that separates Manhattan's Upper West Side from the Hudson River — Richard Gere is sitting on a bench. Next to him: Diana Silvers, 28 years old, laughing. Cameras rolling. The scene they're filming is the first meeting between Ezra and Alice. The filming of Asymmetry has begun.

Director and writer Maryam Touzani grew up in Tangier. Her Spanish grandmother lived there her entire life. When Touzani began developing Calle Málaga, she didn't start with a script. She started with a memory. And a city. Calle Málaga was filmed entirely on location in Tangier, Morocco, focusing on real neighbourhoods and historic landmarks rather than studio sets, grounding the story in authentic spaces.

It started with a cemetery. On July 18, 2025, Nicole Kidman posted a video to Instagram: her arms wrapped around Sandra Bullock somewhere in an old English graveyard, both of them back in character, both of them laughing.

It started with 50 crew members and a closed restaurant. By the time the Hallmark Channel production Much About Love – previously titled Nothing But Love – wrapped its shoot in mid-May 2026, it had left its mark on some of London, Ontario's most distinctive addresses. A fairy-tale amusement park. A heritage building that used to be a hotel. A pub named after Chaucer. It's almost too on-brand for a modern Shakespeare adaptation.

Jill — sitting on a bench — overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. A beautiful moment in Netflix's Voicemails for Isabelle — and it was filmed on a green screen in Langley, British Columbia. The bulk of filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, with just two days of location work in actual San Francisco to capture the city's most iconic backdrops.

Antoine Fuqua's Michael is a movie that tells the story of Michael Jackson's rise from a cramped house in Gary, Indiana, to global superstardom. Jaafar Jackson — Michael's nephew, son of Jermaine, making his film debut — was cast to play his uncle. It was filmed entirely in California.

Principal photography on A Quiet Place Part III began on May 10, 2026, in New York City. John Krasinski announced it with an Instagram photo of a clapperboard held in front of the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade in Chinatown, with the caption: "Here. We. Go! #PartIII."

Kennedy said goodbye to the cast and crew — and burst into tears. That moment, captured in behind-the-scenes photos in late June 2026, marked the end of filming an ambitious historical production of Netflix.

Just-announced. La Vida Barcelona, a new romantic dramedy series, finished shooting in Barcelona this week and is now heading to Amsterdam to complete production. The series follows Julia, a young Dutch designer sent to Barcelona by her mother to undermine a rival agency — only to find herself falling in love with the city, her new job, and two different men, setting off a chain of unexpected events.

Principal photography on Tangled Up in Blue began on June 22, 2026, in Porthcawl, Wales — a coastal town on the South Wales coast between Swansea and Cardiff. The film is directed by Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams.
