It wrapped with a party in mid-July 2026. Cast and crew photographs appeared on Instagram within hours. After roughly four months of filming, the live-action Gundam movie has officially wrapped production in Queensland, Australia. Working title: Teardrop.

Principal photography on Netflix's thriller The Big Fix with Mark Wahlberg began on April 28, 2026, in Sydney, New South Wales, and ran through late June – before the production extended internationally to Penang, Malaysia in July.

That is the premise of Treasure & Dirt, a new six-part Australian series which premiered on July 19, 2026. And one of the location where it was filmed is an extraordinary place.

Jason Bateman's new Netflix crime-comedy The Cackling of the Dodos filmed in New Jersey from June 1 to July 12, 2026 – six weeks across several communities in Union and Bergen counties. A 2027 Netflix premiere is the most likely window.

A tent encampment appeared at the corner of California and Battery streets in San Francisco's Financial District on July 10, 2026. Tents across all four sides of the intersection. It was the set for 2034, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Netflix AI thriller, wrapping its final chapter in San Francisco after months of principal photography in Serbia and Montenegro.

On July 13, 2026, location managers for a film codenamed Karma had warned residents of Primrose Hill that roads would be closed while a red London bus crash was staged in Chalcot Road outside the Princess of Wales pub. And Ben Stiller was spotted running up and down the road looking, in the words of one local, "very distressed." And the folowwing day, he was in Dorset.

One hour. One phone call. One city to sprint across. The Runner was shot entirely on location in London – not a studio, not a backlot, not a carefully chosen stand-in city. The real thing, across the spring and early summer of 2025, from April 22 to early July. It premieres eight months later.

Netflix's adaptation of Alex North's bestselling thriller arrives on August 28, 2026, with Robert De Niro, Adam Scott, Michelle Monaghan and Michael Keaton. And it was filmed across New Jersey – five communities in two months, from April 7 to June 4, 2025.

Brad Ingelsby grew up in Berwyn, Delaware County. He wrote Mare of Easttown about the place. He wrote Task about the place. And when season 2 of Task began filming on July 6, 2026, he brought it back to the same working-class Pennsylvania streets that have defined everything he has ever made for television. Creator Ingelsby has proudly called it a Delco story.

Principal photography for Mayday began on March 4, 2024, under the working title Blackbird, and wrapped on June 5, 2024 – a tight fourteen-week shoot across four locations: Montreal, Budapest, San Diego, and an undisclosed location that provided the Russian wilderness the story required.
