Will Gluck – director of Easy A and Anyone But You, born and raised in New York — made One Night Only from the inside out, filming across the Upper West Side, Hamilton Heights, the West Village, SoHo, Long Island City and Greenpoint between September and December 2025.

Twenty-two years. That's how long it's been since Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo danced to "Thriller" in a Manhattan loft and made a generation fall in love with the idea of waking up at 30 and getting a second chance. Netflix's reimagining – working title Authentic – began filming on June 23, 2026, in Los Angeles. And wrapped on August 10, 2026.

Lanterns – the eight-episode True Detective-style noir thriller starring Kyle Chandler as veteran Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as new recruit John Stewart – follows two intergalactic law enforcement officers investigating a seemingly isolated murder in rural Nebraska. The Nebraska setting is fictional. The town used to build it is very real.

"It was all location shooting. There were days we rode the subway around and just shot the movie." That is how writer/director Noah Segan described making The Only Living Pickpocket in New York – a film that was shot on the actual New York City subway, on Pell Street, and at many other locations in New York City.

Principal photography for War began in September 2025 at OMA X Film Studios in Enfield. By the time filming wrapped in February 2026, the production had moved through Smith Square in Westminster, the Southbank, and the corporate corridors of Canary Wharf – building the world of London's most elite legal firms from some of the city's most architecturally charged locations.

The Batman: Part II began principal photography on June 12, 2026 – following years of delays attributed to the lengthy script process, the 2023 Hollywood strikes and Reeves's personal circumstances. Filming is primarily taking place on soundstages at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, with location shooting in England and Scotland.

The working title was Bluefin Tuna, LLC. That was the first sign that something unusual was being made. The second sign was Robert Pattinson – in a blazer, with a microphone, looking disturbingly comfortable – walking into a house in New Orleans to confront a man who had no idea what was about to happen. Filming took place from February 26 to March 28, 2025, in New Orleans.

James Gray set his debut film on Brighton Beach Avenue in 1994. Thirty-two years later, he came back – with Adam Driver, Miles Teller and Scarlett Johansson, a $15 million budget and a story about two brothers whose pursuit of the American Dream pulls them into a Russian mafia nightmare. Paper Tiger filmed across Brighton Beach in Brooklyn, Bergen County in New Jersey, Forest Hills in Queens, and the suburbs of Denville, Bayonne and Newark between June and late 2025.

Thirteen years. That is how long it has been since Lenny, Eric, Kurt, Marcus and Rob last embarrassed themselves on screen together. Netflix announced Grown Ups 3 at its Upfronts in May 2026. Principal photography began on July 6, 2026, and is scheduled to run through October 14, with filming taking place across New Jersey, Boston, Italy and France.

Season 2 of the Young Sherlock series started in late May 2026. Since then camera's are running thoughout Palermo and the United Kingdom. FIlming expected to continue through the end of the year, with a late 2027 or early 2028 premiere on Prime Video the most realistic expectation.

The cameras started rolling near Penola on June 12, 2025. A small, limestone-coast town of 1,400 people in South Australia's far south-east. From Penola, the production spread to the Southern Barossa region and back to Adelaide Studios, where the interiors were built. Netflix's My Brilliant Career – the new series adaptation of Miles Franklin's beloved novel, premiering August 13, 2026 – was filmed entirely in South Australia.

Taylor Sheridan is from Fort Worth. He knows these streets. And when it came time to build the world of Frisco King — the Tulsa King spinoff in which Samuel L. Jackson plays Russell Lee Washington Jr., a former hitman building a criminal empire in North Texas — Sheridan brought the cameras home.
