London's legal world on screen: Here's where the series War was filmed
War (season 1)
Principal photography for War began in September 2025 at OMA X Film Studios in Enfield. By the time filming wrapped in February 2026, the production had moved through Smith Square in Westminster, the Southbank, and the corporate corridors of Canary Wharf — building the world of London's most elite legal firms from some of the city's most architecturally charged locations.
War, the new HBO and Sky legal drama from George Kay, stars Dominic West as a British tech entrepreneur and Sienna Miller as his film star wife in what their lawyers describe as "likely the biggest divorce trial in British legal history."
OMA X Film Studios, Enfield
Principal photography began in September 2025, with filming taking place at OMA X Film Studios in Enfield, London — the production's primary studio base. The studio housed the show's interior sets like the law firm offices of Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne, the courtroom, the boardrooms, and the private meeting rooms

Smith Square and the Southbank
Filming also took place at Smith Square Hall — the former church on Smith Square in Westminster, now one of London's most prestigious concert venues.
The Daily Mail reported that Dominic West and Sienna Miller were spotted filming exterior scenes along the Southbank — London's riverside cultural promenade stretching from Waterloo Bridge to Tower Bridge on the south bank of the Thames.
Filming also took place at other locations in London, but we don't know the exact locations yet.
War premieres October 1, 2026 on HBO and Sky. Season 2 is already filming.
