And between those two moments, he spent several months in Victoria, Australia, playing John Tuggle – the final pick of the 1983 NFL draft, the original Mr. Irrelevant, a New York Giant who became one of the most beloved players his team ever had.

The production of Netflix's new six-part suspense thriller series Below made one fundamental decision from the start: no green screens, no soundstages. Filming took place entirely on location in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, between July and October 2025, in small coastal communities on the Avalon Peninsula that locals had never seen transformed into a film set before.

Principal photography for Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar began on July 20, 2026, in New York City. The four-month shoot is scheduled to wrap on November 6, 2026, with filming based across New York and New Jersey.

In January 2026, Sony Pictures distributed a series of postcards around the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts – the school co-founded by Paul McCartney himself. Each postcard showed one of the four lead actors in character as a Beatle, alongside iconic Liverpool locations. It was the production's first public statement. And maybe it was also a map of what was coming as filming locations.

A Netflix's spy action-comedy directed by McG (Charlie's Angels, Way of the Warrior Kid) – officially began filming on August 31, 2026, across New Jersey, with additional international filming in France scheduled later in the production.

Everyone knows the name. Not everyone knows the story. Netflix's Unabomber tells the story of the man who orchestrated a decades-long mail bombing campaign that killed three people and injured 23 more. It filmed in Montreal, Quebec, under the working title Debate Club, from June 4 to July 24, 2025.

Robert Langdon has been to Paris. To Rome. To Barcelona. To Florence. For his sixth adventure — Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets, published in September 2025 and already in production as a Netflix limited series — he is heading to Prague. Filming began in Prague in the beginning of this months.

Station Square in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. A police station somewhere in Manchester. And more locations across the North of England still to come before the mid-December wrap. Netflix's untitled Roald Dahl adult drama – filming since mid-August 2026 under the working title Zoltar – is using the North of England to build its world of twisted adult short stories.

"While Atlanta is not 1960s Mississippi, you can find pockets where the old architecture remains." Location manager Kyle Hinshaw – whose credits include Bad Boys for Life and Baby Driver – summed up the central challenge of filming By Any Means in a single sentence. The film is set in Mississippi in 1966. It was filmed entirely in Georgia.

Shawn Levy wrapped Star Wars: Starfighter and headed into post-production with a single Instagram caption: "That's a wrap! Headed into #Starfighter post-production like…" Before that moment, he had marked the start of the shoot in September 2025 by sharing a photograph of Gosling and co-star Flynn Gray in costume with the Mediterranean Sea behind them. "Somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea #Starfighter," he captioned it. That somewhere, it turns out, was Sardinia.

The story behind how it came to exist is, by all accounts, extraordinary. And now it is being made into a film in London.

And this time, the fictional Hillman College is built from real HBCU campuses.  The pilot was filmed in July 2025 at Clark Atlanta University – fans posted footage of production in the Atlanta University Center from the start.
