The suitcase tags say it all. AGP to LGW. Málaga to Gatwick. Anya Taylor-Joy is back in London – and Grace Bernard has been busy in Marbella. The first set photos from How to Kill Your Family landed a few days ago, showing Taylor-Joy in character on a leafy residential London street, wheeling a suitcase up to a black Georgian front door. Production is officially underway.
How to Kill Your Family is an eight-episode dark comedy crime series adapted from Bella Mackie’s bestselling novel, produced by Sid Gentle Films – the company behind Killing Eve – and Taylor-Joy’s own LadyKiller Productions for Netflix. Created and written by Emma Moran (Extraordinary). Directed by Josephine Bornebusch (Baby Reindeer, Slow Horses) and Tom Kingsley (Ghosts, This Is Going to Hurt).
Taylor-Joy plays Grace Bernard – the forgotten illegitimate daughter of merciless billionaire Simon Artemis, who decides to take revenge on the father who ejected her dying mother’s pleas for help. She vows revenge. She sets about killing his entire family. One by one. Clive Owen, Orlando Norman and David Shields complete the confirmed cast.
Filming began in mid-October 2026 in London and is expected to run until mid-February 2027.

The first set photos confirm London as the primary filming location – Taylor-Joy on a leafy residential street, suitcase in hand, arriving back from Marbella. London is where Grace Bernard lives, plots and returns to after her Spanish chapter.
The haven't found out where the residential house is located where they started the production and took the first set photo. But...we keep looking!

A leg in Spain is confirmed. The suitcase tags in the set photos – AGP, Málaga Airport – confirm that Grace’s story passes through the Costa del Sol. In Mackie’s novel, the Artemis family’s Marbella holiday provides the setting for Grace’s first kills. But if the production is really gonna film in Marbella is not yet confirmed.
A late 2027 or early 2028 Netflix premiere is the most realistic expectation for How to Kill Your Family.
