Tina Fey takes the gang to Santa Fe: The season 3 filming locations of The Four Seasons

The first season went to Muskoka. The second season went to the Jersey Shore and Puerto Rico. Season 3 of Netflix's Emmy-nominated comedy has started production – and the first confirmed destination is Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Tina Fey appeared alongside co-stars Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani and Erika Henningsen in a photo released on September 23 to announce the start of production on season 3. The new season is expected to wrap filming sometime in December.
The Four Seasons is a comedy-drama created by Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, inspired by Alan Alda's 1981 film of the same name. The show follows three couples who vacation together every season – Kate (Fey) and Jack (Forte), Danny (Domingo) and Claude (Calvani), and Nick's ex-wife Anne (Kenney-Silver) alongside his girlfriend Ginny (Henningsen) – as old friendships, new complications and midlife questions surface in beautiful settings that make everything look more manageable than it is.
Universal Television's Emmy-nominated The Four Seasons filmed a season 3 episode in Santa Fe through September 19, employing New Mexico crew members and actors. Fey returns to New Mexico after filming Whiskey Tango Foxtrot there in 2015.
Santa Fe is a pointed seasonal destination for the group. The New Mexico capital's adobe architecture, its art galleries, its high-desert landscape and its specific combination of cultural richness and outdoor access make it exactly the kind of place that a group of well-meaning, slightly complicated middle-aged friends would choose for a supposedly restorative vacation.
New Mexico Film Office director Steve Graham was direct about what a production like this means: "Having a series like The Four Seasons film in New Mexico speaks to how the state complements compelling storytelling. One of our goals is to get filmmakers to return and this is a great example of working with our film partners."
Santa Fe Film Office commissioner Jennifer LaBar Tapia was equally warm: "The Four Seasons is a fantastic addition to Santa Fe's long and celebrated film history. Productions like this recognize the value of our extraordinary locations, world-class crew and film-friendly community. We're thrilled to welcome the production and proud to see Santa Fe continue to shine on the global screen."
Specific Santa Fe locations used during filming have not yet been publicly confirmed. Would it be funny if the production turned up at the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe at some point? We'll let you know the moment we find out.

Additional filming locations for season 3 have not yet been revealed. Given the show's established pattern – each episode pair representing a different destination, a different season, a different emotional temperature – Santa Fe is presumably one stop among several before the December wrap.
