Four locations. Two continents. One crosswalk kiss in the middle of Manhattan. Hello & Paris – the Amazon MGM romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson and Javier Bardem, directed by Elizabeth Chomko – began filming in Paris in late April 2026 and has since moved through Whitstable, Camber and New York City.
Hello & Paris is written and directed by Elizabeth Chomko (What They Had), produced by Finola Dwyer through Fifth Season and distributed globally through Prime Video. The ensemble around Hudson and Bardem includes Steve Zahn, Phil Dunster, Gemma Chan, Aisling Bea, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Rupert Penry-Jones, Trudie Styler, Amber Valletta, Bella Maclean, Eliot Sumner and Thaddea Graham. Principal photography began in late April 2026.

Filming began in Paris at the end of April 2026 – Hudson and Bardem were spotted filming in a Parisian park near an ice cream stand. By mid-May, the production had moved to Rue de l'Échaudé near Rue Jacob in the 6th arrondissement – one of the Left Bank's most characteristically literary streets.

In early May 2026, a massive operation of lorries and high-end filming equipment rolled into Camber's Western car park, marking the arrival of the Hello & Paris production on the East Sussex coast. Camber's wide, flat beach and its rural car park gave the production the open coastal space it needed for what appears to be one of the film's American-set seaside sequences.
On May 19, Whitstable Harbour in Kent was transformed into a Hamptons-style fishing dock for the day. The harbour was dressed with period-appropriate props, set dressing and working boats as cameras rolled throughout. Javier Bardem was spotted buying clams, checking on fish freshness and stopping to greet passersby between takes.
The production's most publicly visible moment came on June 23, when Kate Hudson and Javier Bardem were spotted sharing a kiss on the crosswalk at the intersection of East/West 19th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The Flatiron District's crosswalk – Manhattan's grid stretching in every direction around them – is exactly where a romantic comedy about two people on opposite sides of the Atlantic stages its most public romantic moment.
