Principal photography for Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar began on July 20, 2026, in New York City. The four-month shoot is scheduled to wrap on November 6, 2026, with filming based across New York and New Jersey.
Harlan Coben calls it his "most prized possession." After thirteen Netflix adaptations of his novels – from Safe to Fool Me Once to I Will Find You – the streamer has finally turned its attention to the series that started it all: Myron Bolitar, the former basketball player turned sports agent turned reluctant detective, who has been solving crimes in New Jersey and New York across twelve novels since 1995.
Colin Woodell plays Myron Bolitar. KJ Apa plays Win Lockwood. Diane Guerrero plays Esperanza Diaz. The wider ensemble includes Chloe Fineman, Jabari Banks, Jamie McShane and Ra'Mya Latiah Aikens in leading roles, with Ben McKenzie, Quincy Isaiah, Bebe Neuwirth, Griffin Dunne and Melissa Benoist in recurring roles.

Netflix confirmed production began officially in New York City on July 20. The Hollywood Reporter spotted a crew filming on Manhattan's Upper East Side in the production's opening days. Since then, the cameras have moved through multiple New York City neighbourhoods – tracing a geography that maps closely onto Myron Bolitar's own world across the novels.
The production was spotted around Delancey Street and Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side on August 5. And on September 9, filming took place on the Upper East Side around Fifth Avenue, Park Avenue and East 75th to 79th Streets.

On Monday September 14, filming took place in the Financial District near Church Street, Barclay Street and Fulton Street in Lower Manhattan – the historic core of the city's commercial and legal infrastructure, its mix of 19th-century civic buildings and modern glass towers.
The production used the neighbourhood and storefront around the Tribeca Spa of Tranquility at 462 Greenwich Street in Tribeca as a real-life backdrop for the show.
The production also filmed in Greenwich Village near Waverly Place and Sixth Avenue.
New Jersey is confirmed as the second major filming location – and for Coben fans, the most resonant. Myron Bolitar lives in his parents' basement in Livingston, Essex County, New Jersey. He runs his sports agency out of midtown Manhattan, but his roots are in New Jersey – the state where Coben himself grew up and where the novels are most deeply embedded geographically.
Myron Bolitar premiere is expected on Netflix in 2027.
