The Morning Show (Season 5)
The Morning Show is set in New York. It is filmed in Los Angeles. And every season, a handful of carefully chosen New York City locations provide the authenticity that Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City cannot manufacture. Season 5 is no different — and no less interesting for it.
Principal photography began on February 23, 2026, and is scheduled to run through July 29, with Los Angeles as the primary base for all interior work. The UBA headquarters exterior remains 611 Place at 611 West 6th Street in Downtown Los Angeles — a 42-story glass tower that has been the fictional home of UBA since the pilot. The newsroom, the executive offices, the hallways where careers are made and destroyed: all of it built and filmed at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City.
Mercer Street
Jennifer Aniston was spotted filming a scene on Mercer Street in SoHo — driving a silver Porsche through one of downtown Manhattan's most recognisable streets. Mercer Street runs through the heart of SoHo, its cobblestoned surface and cast-iron facades unchanged since the neighbourhood's 19th-century warehouse days.

Central Park's Bow Bridge
On June 25, Billy Crudup and Sean Hayes filmed scenes together in Central Park on the Bow Bridge. The two were spotted joking around between setups, which suggests either the scene is lighter than the gold urn Crudup holds implies or both actors are simply incapable of staying serious for long.
Given the show's established two-year release pattern, the new season is expected to premiere in late 2027.
