Nancy Meyers is back and she's filming in Santa Monica: The locations of Paris Paramount

Paris Paramount — the romantic comedy that nearly didn't exist — began principal photography on May 17, 2026, in Los Angeles. It is scheduled to wrap September 17. Warner Bros. Pictures releases it on December 25, 2027. Eleven years after The Intern, the director of Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, and It's Complicated is making her return.
The film follows a filmmaker and producer who were once romantic and creative partners — reuniting years after their breakup to make a new movie together, navigating their complicated history while managing volatile stars on a high-stakes production. It is, as Meyers herself described in a 2023 Instagram post, about "a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of what we do." Semi-autobiographical. Set in the film industry. Shot entirely in Los Angeles.
Warner Bros. Studio, Burbank
The production is based at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank. It is a fitting choice, a film about making a movie, shot at one of Hollywood's oldest and most storied studio lots. The backlot at Warner Bros. has housed everything from Casablanca to La La Land, and its distinctive streets and studio buildings have appeared in countless films about Hollywood itself. For a story that Meyers describes as being about the magic of what filmmakers do, is sounds like the perfect location.
The cast is formidable. Penélope Cruz and Kieran Culkin lead as the central romantic pair — the former creative and romantic partners forced back together. Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Erin Doherty, Tony Hale, Beverly D'Angelo, and Apple Martin (making her feature film debut) fill out the ensemble.

The Fairmont Miramar Hotel, Santa Monica
The most specific confirmed location is the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows in Santa Monica — a fixture of the city's skyline for more than a century, sitting on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean on Wilshire Boulevard. The oceanfront hotel is serving as a filming location for Paris Paramount, where it will appear on screen not as itself but under the fictional name "L'Azurine." Previous screen appearances of the Fairmont Miramar include Get Shorty, Iron Man, and Big Little Lies.
