A Netflix's spy action-comedy directed by McG (Charlie's Angels, Way of the Warrior Kid) – officially began filming on August 31, 2026, across New Jersey, with additional international filming in France scheduled later in the production.
The film is expected to wrap just before Thanksgiving on November 23. The screenplay is by Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux, Adam and Aaron Nee, and Jonathan Tropper, based on a short story by Sean Lewis.
When two rival spies – Hart and Cavill – cross paths in a Lamaze class and their wives become fast friends, their double lives collide in unexpectedly hilarious and dangerous ways. The two men are forced to become reluctant confidants and partners on the road to fatherhood. Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe and Aja Naomi King round out the cast.

The first confirmed public sighting of Hart and Cavill on set together came on September 9 in Glen Ridge – a small Essex County borough of about 7,500 people whose tree-lined streets and Victorian and Colonial homes give it a quietly upscale suburban character. The cast and crew filmed outside a private home on Ridgewood Avenue on the morning of September 9. Cavill wore an all-black ensemble of elbow-patched jacket and jeans and sat on a red Triumph motorcycle. Hart, in full domestic-spy contrast, wore a Joy Division T-shirt, plaid pyjama pants and slides with socks. A lime-green vintage Porsche Carrera RS with a New York number plate – his character's car – was parked nearby. In the scene, Hart examines a phone screen and shows its contents to Cavill.

Earlier in the production – September 1 to 3 – Delicious Orchards at 320 State Route 34 in Colts Neck was temporarily closed for filming. The country food market and farm, a Monmouth County institution, posted a yellow "SET" sign on its front door. Vice President Michael MacDonald later confirmed the filming directly, showing a behind-the-scenes video of the sign being removed as the market resumed business.
On September 11, crews converted the century-old Doremus building at 21-23 Broad Street in downtown Red Bank into a fictional yoga studio called "New Roc Yoga." The Doremus building – an architectural gem that had been vacant for 14 years – was dressed for the production's purposes, with crews working along the Broadwalk seasonal pedestrian plaza and inside the building. Fliers posted in doorways along West Front Street alerted residents that filming would begin Monday September 14 and run for two days.
Shooting locations are split between New Jersey and France, giving the production its international espionage scope. Rival spies whose wives met in a Lamaze class presumably have lives that extend beyond Essex County. Specific French locations have not yet been confirmed.
