Silicon Valley was filmed in New Jersey: The filming locations of Cupertino

The cast filmed at the IHOP on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights on March 9, catching the attention of passersby who posted in a local Facebook group. The crew received a one-day permit. The IHOP was subsequently destroyed in a fire on August 3.

For a few days in April 2026, the production filmed at Perth Amboy Municipal Courthouse – bringing its Silicon Valley legal drama to a real New Jersey courtroom.

The trailer confirms filming at Centra Metropark – the distinctive modernist office building at 186 Wood Avenue South in Iselin, New Jersey, designed by architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. The building's glass-and-steel corporate architecture reads convincingly as the kind of Silicon Valley tech company headquarters the show requires.

A conference room inside the Green Lane Academic Building at Kean University served as one of the production's interior filming locations. Ramapo College of New Jersey also appears on the confirmed location list, its campus architecture and institutional infrastructure providing further academic and professional environments.

On July 28, from 4 to 10pm, CBS filmed scenes for Cupertino in Dunellen – with a rain date scheduled for August 3. Production vehicles and equipment were parked from 7am to 10pm along portions of North Avenue, North Washington Avenue and Front Street, with street closures and detours in place. The notice did not identify the exact filming location. Dunellen's small-town Middlesex County commercial streetscape was briefly transformed into a corner of Silicon Valley.

Ventanas Restaurant Lounge at 200 Park Avenue in Fort Lee, Bergen County, announced on social media that it had been selected as a filming location. The restaurant was closed on August 11 and 12 to accommodate cast and crew. "We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back after filming," the Ventanas post read. It is at least the second Bergen County restaurant used in the production after the Hasbrouck Heights IHOP.

In early September, Cupertino filmed at a large banquet hall in Bloomfield, with the crew staging at a base camp on East Passaic Avenue. Large trucks were parked in a nearby lot and crew members were spotted on the steps of an adjacent church.
