By the start of VisionQuest, Vision has been disguising himself as a human and working at a pub for years. That premise – Marvel's most philosophical android hiding behind a bar in an English village dressed as Scotland – sets up an unusual location choices in the MCU's history. The pub was real. The village was real. The Scottish flag was not.
VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, with eight episodes. It is the third and final instalment in the WandaVision trilogy, following WandaVision (2021) and Agatha All Along (2024).
Filming began on March 14, 2025, in London, and wrapped on July 31 under the working title Tin Man.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision. James Spader returns as Ultron. Emily Hampshire, Diane Morgan, Lauren Morais, Faran Tahir and Ruaridh Mollica complete the cast. Matalas described the Vision–Ultron dynamic as a "sort of father-son-therapist-psychopath" relationship. Spader declared that Ultron both loves and hates Vision.

Filming took place at Pinewood Studios in London – the Buckinghamshire complex that has served as the MCU's British production home since Captain America: The First Avenger. Pinewood's soundstages and backlot provided the controlled environments for the series' interior sequences and the technically demanding work of building Vision's hidden human life from the inside out.

In late March and early April 2025, production crews transformed a real village pub in the Chilterns area of England into the fictional "The Old Selkie" – the establishment where Vision has been hiding in plain sight, serving drinks and suppressing his true nature. The set dressing renamed the local pub and raised the Saltire – the national flag of Scotland – outside the building, with the English Chilterns landscape doubling as a coastal or rural Scottish town. Local onlookers and journalists captured set photos of the transformation.
The trailer confirms filming at Hatfield House – the Jacobean country house in Hertfordshire, built between 1607 and 1611 and one of the most frequently used heritage filming locations in Britain. Its state rooms, its Great Hall and its ornate historic interiors have appeared in everything from The Favourite to The Crown to multiple James Bond productions.
