Las Vegas was shot in Dagenham: The East London locations where Fightland was filmed

The eight-episode boxing crime drama — executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson — was filmed at the brand new Eastbrook Studios in East London and across locations in Barking, Dagenham and beyond. Principal photography took place in Newham, East London, in 2025.
The production is based at Eastbrook Studios. The Las Vegas arena sequences, the boxing gym interiors, locker rooms, backstage corridors and the criminal underworld spaces that form the story's operational centre were all built and filmed on these stages.
Location Manager Christian McWilliams described the location work as a genuine challenge: "We're scouting locations in the east, which is a challenge as I'm normally looking west. About 80% of us live in the west, so it's a bit more of a journey." The production scouted across East London, using the area's industrial streets, riverside locations and urban fabric to build the show's London world.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, The Science Park and The Switch Building
The production's most audacious location choice was Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London. "We needed to find locations in London that looked like Las Vegas," says McWilliams. "We ended up using Tottenham Hotspur Stadium because it's such a modern, state-of-the-art venue. The underground players' car park doubled for the MGM casino in Vegas, while the stadium pitch was used for a boxing fight sequence." The production also incorporated real footage from the Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank fight at Tottenham's stadium, including appearances by 50 Cent himself — blending archive material with freshly filmed sequences.
The nearby Science Park was transformed into everything from prison cells and hospital wards to airport interiors and mortuaries. "We built prison interiors there, which was really handy because it's hard to film in prisons in this country," says McWilliams. "We also built hospital sets, airport scenes and a mortuary there. Those kinds of adaptable spaces are incredibly difficult to find in London."
The production made extensive use of the Switch Building — a former power station promoted by Film Barking & Dagenham. "It's an incredible space," says McWilliams. "There are safety issues, but you can sort them out, and it's got a huge old car park next to it that we used for our vehicles."

The Peacock Gym, York Hall, Woolwich Pier, Godalming Villa and Poplar
The legendary Peacock Gym in Canning Town features prominently. "The gym is almost like a museum to East London boxing," says McWilliams. "It's a location productions keep coming back to." The gym has appeared in MobLand and numerous other productions — its authentic boxing culture and lived-in atmosphere giving it a credibility no studio set can replicate.
Further confirmed locations include York Hall in Bethnal Green — one of London's most historic boxing venues — Woolwich Pier, Godalming Villa, and Poplar in the borough of Tower Hamlets, with its swathes of post-World War II social housing. Together these locations trace an arc across the social geography of East London: boxing heritage, riverside industry, working-class residential streets.
Fightland premieres on Starz on July 31, 2026, and on Sky Atlantic in August.
