MovieWalks processes your personal data because you use our services and/or provide these data to us. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We, therefore, advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such permission, don't hesitate to contact us at privacy@moviewalks.com, and we will delete this information.

MovieWalks processes your personal data for the following purposes:

MovieWalks uses cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it. In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behavior so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements.  

On your first visit to our website, we already informed you about these cookies and asked your permission to place them.

Consent to the use of cookies
For our website to function properly we use cookies. To obtain your valid consent for the use and storage of cookies in the browser you use to access our website and to properly document this we use a consent management platform: CookieFirst. When you access our website, a connection is established with CookieFirst’s server to give us the possibility to obtain valid consent from you to the use of certain cookies. Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with CookieFirst. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that data of our website visitors is only processed in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Our website and CookieFirst automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The following data is collected:

-The date and time you have visited our website
-The webpage url where you saved or updated your consent preferences

Accessing, adjusting, or deleting data
You can view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to processing your personal data by MovieWalks, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.  

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to processing your personal data to privacy@moviewalks.com. 

To make sure that you make the inspection request, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, erase your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible but within four weeks.
