Season 5 of the hitseries Emily in Paris started filming in Rome

The streets of Rome are getting a dose of Parisian flair as filming for the new season of Emily in Paris is officially underway. On Thursday, May 8, Lily Collins and co-star Eugenio Franceschini brought a touch of high fashion to the Eternal City while shooting scenes for the hit Netflix series’ fifth season.

The day’s filming centered around the luxurious Fendi store, with its elegant interiors providing the perfect backdrop for the show’s signature mix of glamour and romance. Lily, 36, turned heads in a sophisticated white and brown jumpsuit, while Eugenio, 33, looked sharp in a tailored tan suit. The Netflix' promotional still, taken by Giulia Parmigiani, was made around filming the scene at the Fendi store.

Season five will pick up right where season four left off, beginning its story in Rome before returning to Paris for the remainder of production
