In the summer of 2025, Vancouver’s vibrant Commercial Drive—celebrated by Time Out as one of the world’s “coolest streets”—became a filming hotspot for the upcoming Netflix feature Voicemails for Isabelle. On Tuesday, July 29, the charming Havana restaurant, known for its famous patio and Latin-inspired cocktails and dishes, served as a lively on-location set for scenes in the film directed by Leah McKendrick, starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson. Production was seen at David Lam Park in Yaletown earlier in July.
Highlands Productions, ULC, kicked off filming on July 10 and will continue through Aug. 26.
